For those of us writers who are working outside the realm of big publishing-houses, we have to jump-start and generate our own publicity for what we write—so I have a proposal.
For anyone who is game for posting a book review (on your blog or vlog or podcast or FaceBook, or wherever-it-is that you post things online), I will send a free copy of my book in exchange for a review.
(To be clear, I’m not demanding that you post a GOOD review—although obviously I have hope that you’ll want to. The deal is a free book for a review, straight-up.)
The book will be paperback (because I don’t know how to send through Kindle or Apple books), so pick which book you’d like to review, and then let me know (1) which title, and (2) your name & mailing address. You can use the comments below, or (if you prefer not to post your address publicly) you can email me: kanasmith13@gmail.com. And finally (3) when you post your review, let me know where to find it (again, in comments or by email)
None of these books are lengthy, so it won’t be an extravagant time commitment to read any of them. If you asked me about them, I’d tell you… My best seller is the A.A. book (although obviously that has a somewhat limited target audience). The “Travel Tutorial” is the one I had the most fun writing, and the “Bible with a Smile” series involved the most work. (It’s Genesis through Numbers, by the way—Deuteronomy is still in the works.)
